Paintable

A combination of Premium-Grade HDF and Paint Grade Maple for the smoothest possible painted surface. Recommended when paint finish quality is the priority over natural wood character.

Hickory

Pronounced grain with dramatic color variation from creamy white to dark brown within the same panel. Mineral streaks and sound knots are common. An exceptionally dense and strong hardwood. Best for rustic and farmhouse aesthetics.

Red Oak

Prominent grain that varies from tight straight lines to a distinctive arch pattern. Creamy white to light brown with reddish hues. Occasional pin knots and mineral streaks. Color and grain are fairly consistent overall.

Alder

Fine-grained hardwood with a light honey to reddish-brown color. Even texture and straight grain. Accepts stain well. Random tight knots are characteristic. Lightens gradually over time.

Select Alder

Same species as Alder with minimal to no tight knots. Cleaner surface, more consistent appearance. Accepts stain evenly. Best when you want the warmth of Alder without pronounced character marks.

Birch

Medium hardwood with a natural off-white color, fine texture, and straight grain. Takes paint well – one of the best species for painted finishes. Accepts stain unevenly (mottling), so best with lighter stains or paint.
